It didn't matter because the CD had the old driver that didn't work any way. Funny thing, the replacement didn't contain any driver CD's nor manual, just the bare bone keyboard, mouse, and wireless USB wireless receiver where as the first one that came, though defective, had the manual and CD's in the box. The shipped product contains the 6.0 version which caused a bunch of BSOD's when I first tried to get the darn thing to work. BTW, make sure you go online to Microsoft and download the latest version of IntelliPoint 6.1 and IntelliType Pro 6.1 It's free. Kinda sucked having to pay the return shipping charge and wait another 2 weeks for a replacement. It would not connect with the wireless receiver. Overall Review: Had to RMA for an exchange the first go round because the keyboard was defective. Not a con but batteries are not included (2 AA for the mouse and 2 AA for the keyboard). Would have been perfect if mouse had a rechargeable station for the batteries. Overall pretty snazzy!Д¬ons: The 2 thumb buttons on the mouse is a li'l awkward to use. Love that calculator button! Easy to install. Sleek design and attractive layout, quiet & comfortable keys, nice wrist pad, customizable favorite keys. May not be keyboard/mouse fault, I have a few more things to try before I can determine that. I tried using wired keyboard to adjust BIOS settings but to no avail. Doesn't work for dual booting to select an os. Overall Review: As much as I type and the speed at which I type, this keyboard feels completely natural and comfortable. If the receiverвЂ™s light is always green, it means that it is functioning properly The USB cable should be. You will find the Connect Channel button (usually near the battery compartment) when you flip the keyboard over.

Either way, two eggs were lost b/c of this. Where Is The Connect Button On Microsoft Wireless Keyboard 2000 You can change the receiver by pressing the button. I don't know if its the design of the mouse or if a defect. Also, when trying to use the autoscroll by clicking on the scroll wheel it does the same thing.

I am disappointed in this as it is a main feature for me. The forward and back buttons on the mouse is very convenient along with the wrist pad on the keyboard.Д¬ons: I use the center mouse button (scroll wheel button) constantly to open a new tab in my browser, however, the center mouse button on this mouse only works sometimes. Pros: I love the ergonomic design of the keyboard and mouse.
